What we collect
The contact tool runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing to us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security.
Why we use it
We use emails to reply to you and, with your permission, to publish stories you send. Our lawful bases are consent and legitimate interests in running a secure website.
How long we keep it
Emails are kept for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept for no longer than 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing or withdraw consent. Email us and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
